Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Jurnal Ilmiah Farmasi Indonesia (JIFIN) undergo an Open Peer Review process. This approach emphasizes transparency, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are disclosed, fostering constructive and accountable scholarly discourse.

Each submission is evaluated based on its originality, scientific rigor, relevance to the field of pharmaceutical sciences, and clarity of presentation. The editorial team conducts an initial assessment to ensure the manuscript aligns with the journal's scope and standards. Manuscripts that pass this preliminary check are then forwarded to at least two independent experts for detailed review.

Reviewers are selected for their expertise and are tasked with providing objective, thorough, and timely evaluations. They assess the methodology, data integrity, ethical considerations, and the significance of the findings. Authors receive the reviewers' comments and are expected to address all feedback comprehensively. The editorial team makes the final decision based on the reviewers' recommendations and the authors' responses.

Given the high volume of submissions, the peer review process may take up to 4 weeks. Authors are encouraged to be patient during this period, as the journal is committed to maintaining a rigorous and fair review process.
